Dr. Amanda Cobb DMD

She was proud to graduate as one of the top 10 of her class and also recieve prestigious awards from the Florida Association of Periodontists and Florida Dental Health Foundation. After leaving college, she practiced in Melbourne, FL for a handful of years before deciding to move to Ormond Beach, FL.

Today Dr. Cobb is extremely active in the dental community and is a proud member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association, the Volusia-Flagler County Dental Association,  and the Oceanside Study Club. She is also passionate about pursuing continuing education on a regular basis and studies several different topics in order to provide every patient she sees with comprehensive, high quality dentistry.

When Dr. Cobb isn't busy at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband Thomas have two sons named Gavin and Hudson. Her other insterests in her free time include scuba diving, fishing, golfing, and traveling.

Dr. Cobb is happy to care for teeth of all ages and help patients improve not only their oral health, but their overall health as well. She is looking forward to meeting you here in Big Pine Key and helping you achieve the strong and confident smile you deserve!

Dental Hygienists:

Robin Sanger, RDH

Robin Sanger worked in our office since December of 2005 as a part time hygienist but in January of 2016 has become our full time hygienist. She has lived in the Keys since January of 1994.

An expert in periodontal/preventive therapy she enjoys working with patients to improve their dental health and beautify their smiles. Robin has also had the opportunity in the past to work with a vast majority of disabled patients, keeping their oral health in check.

Robin is a 1981 graduate of the School of Den

tal Hygiene from the University of Conneticut College of Dentistry in Farmington, CT. Robins main concern is the comfort and well being of all her patients. Her continuing studies have kept her on the forefront of dental health. Working with Dr. Cobb she is pleased to provide patients with the finest of preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry in a professional and welcome setting.

Robin is very passionate about her pets and her husband and loves to go boating and fishing with them both!

Dental Assistants:

Samantha Anderson, LDA

Sam joined our team in June 2017. She hails from Brainerd, Minnesota and is a huge Minnesota Wild hockey fan. She and her husband, J.R., fulfilled a lifelong dream of trading in their snow shovels for a set of some ocean kayaks! They sold the house, packed up the dogs and moved to our island paradise. Then, not even three months later, hurricane Irma introduced herself. House hunting for Sam and J.R. presented a very special type of challenge, but they persevered. They found the perfect piece of paradise and moved in the week before their April 2018 wedding.

While Sam will always be a Viking from Minnesota, her unflinching determination in the wake of Hurricane Irma and the fact that she moved AND got married in the same week prove that she has earned the right to the title "Local".

We are lucky to have her experience, kind heart, and dazzling smile!

Jillian Farr

Jillian has been with us since September 2017. She and her husband Dylan moved to the keys in 2015 from Sebastian, FL, where they both worked in the veterinary field. Jillian decided to make the switch to "healthcare for humans" where she doesn't get bitten as much.

They have embraced the keys lifestyle and enjoy boating, fishing and paddle boarding! If you get the chance, ask her about Luigi, her pet eel that resides in the canal behind her house under the dock!

Directors of First Impressions:

Deniece Ivey

Meet Deniece Ivey, the Southern Belle of our team. She and her husband moved to the Keys in 2004, but her southern charm and Tennessee accent still ring loud and clear. You will hear it in her voice the minute you talk with her.

Deniece had been a dental assistant for many years in Tennessee before coming to our office. Her knowledge of dentistry and compassion for our patients make her an MVP in our office. Out of the office, she loves to play “the instrument of peace," her ukulele. She owns seven of them! She loves all animals. Don’t be surprised if she remembers your pet’s name and asks you about them.

Kathy Ford

Meet Kathy Ford! Kathy is a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan who moved to paradise from Pennsylvania in 1993. She graduated from the Median School of Allied Health Careers with a Certified Dental Assisting degree. Kathy also has her radiology and expanded functions certificates.

Her decades of dental expertise in administration and dental assisiting make her a very valuable member of our dental family. We love her dedication to our patients and we also love her sense of humor. It's always the quiet ones that leave you laughing. Kathy loves the beach and playing tennis. Lucy, her dog, has Kathy nearly trained.
