Get to Know Dr. Dan Mazor
Dr. Mazor’s absolute favorite thing to do in our practice is help a patient restore their smile using dental implants. He loves seeing the expression on someone’s face when they look at their new, rebuilt smile in the mirror for the first time. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Some would say that Dr. Mazor was destined to practice dentistry. Born and raised in Israel, both his father and grandfather were dentists, so he got to see firsthand how dental care could change someone’s life for the better. He also liked how a dentist was able to spend plenty of time and form great relationships with their patients. So, after literally growing up in a dental office, he was eager to continue his family tradition when it came time to choose a career.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Mazor completed his initial dental training at the University of Texas, and this was followed by obtaining his specialty certificate in periodontics. During this multi-year program, he completed intense training focused on advanced gum disease therapy and dental implant dentistry. Today, he continues to grow his skills and knowledge through his memberships in the:

- American Academy of Periodontology
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Mazor is married with two sons—one is a fellow dentist, and the other is a lawyer. When he isn’t helping patients or hanging out with family, he likes to stay active by exercising and relax by going to the movies.
